Africori Newsletter

This is an extract of the latest Africor newsletter.

Greetings and welcome to the first ever Africori Newsletter

We apologize profusely for the delay but we can assure you that it has been for very good reasons.

After launching in February, we have been working hard at making the website fully operational and easy to use. We are proud to say that all the hard work has paid off. Please visit the site and see for yourselves.

Firstly we would like to thank all the record labels and artists that are have signed up with Africori. We look forward to building good relationships with you all and taking African music to new and exciting places. Our database is sitting at over 5000 tracks at the moment and is growing week by week. We hope to keep expanding at an ever growing rate.

At the beginning of the year, Yoel attended MIDEM where Africori was launched and received some attention in the international media. You can see an article here written on Billboard about the unveiling of Africori.

Yoel was also invited to speak at MusExpo in Los Angeles in April. At the conference, Africori drew attention from LA based Music Supervisors and we had the opportunity to meet with around 15 Hollywood based Music Supervisors who are now using Africori as a tool to find African Music for productions.

We are currently receiving briefs for pitches on a regular basis and have worked hard at ensuring the most suitable music is available for any project that has come our way. To date we have worked with Coca Cola, Ora Bank and ZA News and have pitched for brands such as VISA, Schweppes and IKEA. We are also constantly pitching to documentaries from all around the world.

Thank you all for your support over the last couple of months. We are truly embracing the digital age and we promise to continue promoting your music through our platform to the best of our ability.
